VICHY IDÉALIA Radiance Boosting Serum
Another Serum from Vichy that I’m loving….
Feelunique.com sent me this about 2 weeks ago now and I
really like it. I have been using it every morning and evening and not changed
any of my other products in the meantime so that I could see if it made a
difference.
I have used a few
Vichy products and always been able to see noticeably results in a pretty short
period of time, this was no different.
The product has a light serum texture that sinks in quickly
without leaving a tack to the skin. I also love the packaging, I hate dropper
bottles so a good old fashioned pump bottle is great! One pump is enough to
cover the whole face.
This contains Sodium Hyaluronate (salt of Hyaluronic acid)… doesn’t
everything seem to at the minute? That’s not a complaint I love it but it is definitely
the buzz ingredient this year. This
means it has an immediate hydrating affect which really does keep the skin moisturised
for the whole day, I have had a few comments since I started using this to say
my skin looked dewy and fresh. This could be because of the extra hydration but
possibly also because the Serum contains Mica which is used in a lot of Makeups
but gives a smooth glowy affect to the skin a lot of people don’t like
this as it doesn’t have a long term
affect and is purely for cosmetic purpose but I like the extra glow it gives as
I don’t wear makeup. This isn’t a wet look glow either it’s a nice matte dewy
hydrated look.
The product also contains Capryloyl Salicylic Acid which is a Lypo
Hydroxy acid that works in a very similar way to Salicylic acid - this is actually patented to the L'oreal group. This gently
exfoliates the skin by speeding up the separating of cells on the skins
surface. I think this really has been working as I have had noticeably fewer
breakouts since I started using this serum and I usually end up with tiny black
heads on my forehead that I have to extract every other week but not as many of
those have built up either. It could be coincidence but I will update if this
changes.
Overall my skin appears smoother and well hydrated and I
will certainly be re-purchasing this one. Top marks to Vichy.
